What Is a Lexus ABS Pump & Module?
The ABS pump assembly — also called the HCU (Hydraulic Control Unit) or ABS modulator — combines two components: the hydraulic valve block and pump motor that physically modulates brake pressure, and the ABS control module that receives wheel speed sensor data and commands the pump.
