Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy describes the limited warranty coverage available for eligible used OEM automotive parts purchased through GreenGears Auto.

GreenGears Auto is a UK-registered online reseller of used OEM auto parts. We source parts from verified US-based salvage yards and arrange direct shipment to customers within the United States. All parts are physically located within the United States and ship domestically.

1 Product Condition Disclosure

Unless otherwise noted on the individual product listing, all parts sold by GreenGears Auto are used OEM automotive parts sourced from verified US-based salvage and recycling facilities.

As pre-owned, recycled components, the following are normal and expected:

  • Normal cosmetic wear consistent with prior vehicle use
  • Minor surface rust or superficial visual imperfections
  • Appearance may vary slightly from listing images
⚠️ Important: Cosmetic wear consistent with prior use is not considered a defect and is not covered under this warranty. Customers are responsible for confirming fitment and compatibility before purchasing. VIN verification assistance is available upon request.
2 Warranty Duration by Part Category

GreenGears Auto provides a limited parts warranty based on product category. The warranty period begins on the date of confirmed delivery.

Any part category not listed in the table above is not covered under warranty. Check your specific product listing for applicable warranty details.
3 Warranty Coverage

This limited warranty applies only to:

  • Verified functional defects confirmed by GreenGears Auto
  • Mechanical failure under normal operating conditions
  • Issues reported within the warranty period stated on the product listing

Coverage applies only to the purchased part itself. It does not extend to any associated costs, damages, or related components. All claims are subject to review and verification by our team.

4 Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered under this limited warranty:

Improper installation
Misuse, abuse, or modification
Labor, diagnostic, or programming costs
Towing or installation fees
Accident or electrical damage
Normal cosmetic wear
Parts disassembled after delivery
Parts altered or repaired post-delivery
🔌 Electrical Components Note: Electronic and electrical parts must be properly installed by a qualified technician before functionality can be assessed. Damage resulting from improper installation is not warranted. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
5 How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim for your used OEM auto part, please complete the following steps:

  • Contact GreenGears Auto within the warranty period applicable to your part category
  • Provide your order number
  • Describe the issue clearly and in detail
  • Submit any supporting documentation or photos if requested
⚠️ Prior authorization is required before returning any item. Unauthorized returns may be refused. Do not ship any item back without receiving a return authorization from our team first.
6 Claim Resolution

If a warranty claim is approved, GreenGears Auto may, at its sole discretion, offer one of the following resolutions:

Issued to the original payment method

All resolutions are processed in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

7 Limitation of Liability

This limited warranty applies solely to the purchased part and is limited to the original purchase price of the item.

No additional warranties, express or implied, are provided beyond what is stated here, except as required by applicable law.

This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
